Butter Chicken:(Murg Makhini)

Butter Chicken or Murg Makhini is a classic one pot Indian recipe.It’s among the best known Indian foods all over the world. 

Ingredients:
๐Ÿ—500g Chicken Boneless(cut into small pieces)
๐Ÿ—4 tablespoons Oil or  Butter 
๐Ÿ—2 Green Chillies
๐Ÿ— 1 Medium onion sliced
๐Ÿ—1 tablespoons coriander powder 
๐Ÿ—8-10 Cashew nuts.
๐Ÿ—1 -2 teaspoon Chilli powder 
๐Ÿ—1/2 teaspoons Sugar
๐Ÿ—1 Onion
๐Ÿ—Salt to taste
๐Ÿ—1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
๐Ÿ—2 teaspoons Ginger and garlic paste
๐Ÿ—200g Tomato
๐Ÿ—1 teaspoon  Kasturi methi ( if you don’t have don’t add)
๐Ÿ—Coriander leaves for garnishing( optional)
Method:
1.Cut the chicken into Small pieces.
2.Rub it with 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste ,1 teaspoon Coriander powder,1 teaspoon Chilli powder,salt.
3.Add the Oil to a pan and Shallow fry the chicken ,then transfer into a plate and keep it aside.
4.In this same oil add the cumin seeds,ginger and garlic paste,Onions stir fry it for 2-3 minutes.
5.Add the Coriander powder,Cashew nuts,Chilli powder,kasturi methi,green chilli,Tomatoes,sugar and salt. Add one cup water to remove all the stuck masala.
6.Cover with a lid and cook for  10 minutes.
7.When the mixture is cooled down blend it nicely.
8.Add butter to the same pan,when the butter Melts add the blended gravy,add the chicken pieces to it.add more water if needed and cook for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is well cooked.
9.Sprinkle coriander leaves on top.If you want you can pour some fresh cream on top.
10.Serve with Naan or Rice ๐Ÿš
