Masala Chips:
- My version of these Kenyan style masala chips takes the ordinary chips to a whole new

Ingredients:
๐ด500 g Fried Potato Chips (Fresh or Frozen Potato chips)
๐ด1 teaspoon Chili Powder
๐ด1 teaspoon Ginger and Garlic Paste
๐ด1/2 teaspoons Cumin Powder
๐ดSalt to taste
๐ด1 teaspoon Sugar
๐ด1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
๐ด1 tablespoon Oil
๐ดChopped Coriander leaves
๐ด3-4 tablespoons Tomato Sauce or Tomato Ketchup
๐ด1 Onion Sliced
Method:
1️⃣Add Oil to a deep Pan.
2️⃣Add ginger and garlic paste.Stir fry it until the raw smell goes.
3️⃣Add the Sliced Onions.stir it.
4️⃣Add the Chili Powder,Salt and Cumin Powder,mix well.
5️⃣Add the Sugar and Tomato Sauce.
5️⃣Lastly add the Lemon Juice,Turn the heat to low.
6️⃣ Cook these ingredients until they are well combined and starting to thicken.( add a splash of water if you prefer your chips saucy.)
7️⃣Throw in your chips. Toss them around so that the sauce covers them properly. Turn off the heat .
8️⃣Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
9️⃣Enjoy yummy,Kenyan Masala Chips.
๐น๐นSometimes I like to add chopped green chillies or red chilli flakes for extra heat. You can adjust according to your taste and preference.
๐น๐น Masala chips are best served straight away.
