Japanese Chicken Kare Rice :
Ingredients:
๐350g chicken breast (cut into cubes)
๐1 onion
๐2 carrots
๐2 medium potatoes
๐1 box Japanese curry roux cubes (add whole)
๐4 cups water
๐2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Method:
1️⃣Cut the chicken, onion, carrot, and potato as per the size preference.
2️⃣Heat 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
3️⃣Add the onions and sautรฉ until fragrant and translucent.
4️⃣Add the chicken pieces and cook until lightly
browned.
5️⃣Add the Cubed carrots and potatoes,stirring for a few minutes.
6️⃣Add Water:
7️⃣Pour 4 cups of water into the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil.
8️⃣Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
9️⃣Break the curry roux cubes into the pot whole. Stir until the curry roux is fully dissolved and the mixture thickens.
๐Serve hot over rice.
