Chocolate bun topped with honey glaze
Ingredients:
🌹2 teaspoons yeast
🌹500 g Flour
🌹3 tablespoons sugar
🌹3 tablespoons butter or Margarine
🌹Salt 1/2 teaspoons
🌹1 egg
🌹Warm milk to knead the dough
Method:
1.put all the ingredients to a bowl and add milk little by little and knead into a very soft dough.
Close it with a damp cloth and leave it to rise for one hour.
3. Divide the dough into small lime sized balls. Then flatten them
with your fingers, add a small piece of chocolate in its center. Bring the edges together and form a ball so that the chocolate is completely enclosed within the dough. Repeat this with all the dough.
4.Arrange it but closer on a buttered tray . Brush with egg on top and bake at 200c for 20-25 minutes.5. When the buns are out from the oven immediately pour it or brush over the buns
and leave for 5 minutes and serve.Ingredients for the Glaze:- 🌹1/2 cup sugar
- 🌹1/4 cup water
- 🌹1 tbsp honey
For the glaze:
Boil the sugar and water together for a few minutes until it is slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and add the honey. Mix and set aside to cool completely.(don’t add hot glaze over the bun.)
