Ingredients:
🌺250 g Flour
🌺200g Jaggery( you can add Jaggery and sugar)
🌺4 Eggs
🌺2 cups Thick coconut Milk
🌺1 Teaspoon Cardamom powder
Or Vanilla Essence
🌺A pinch of Salt
🌺2 Tablespoons Caramelized Sugar Syrup
🌺2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
🌺cashew nuts and Raisins for Garnishing (optional)
Method:
- Add the Milk,Egg and Jaggery to the blender and blend for a minute.
- Add the Flour,Baking Soda ,Cardamom powder,Salt,Sugar syrup and blend again to a smooth Lump free batter. It should be Idly batter consistency.if needed add more coconut milk.
- Pour it to a container ,close it and leave it aside for 2-4 hours.
- Apply Butter or oil to Idly Mould,pour the batter.
- Sprinkle with Cashew nuts and plums if you want.
- Steam it for 10 - 15 Minutes.Insert a toothpick to check wether it’s done.
- You can bake in Cup cake cases or cup cake Mould at 180c for 15 - 20 minutes .
- If you are adding sugar add more caramelized sugar for a beautiful dark brown
