Jaggery Ada:

Ingredients:

🌺250 g Flour

🌺200g Jaggery( you can add Jaggery and sugar)

🌺4 Eggs

🌺2 cups Thick coconut Milk 

🌺1 Teaspoon Cardamom powder 

Or Vanilla Essence

🌺A pinch of Salt

🌺2 Tablespoons Caramelized Sugar Syrup

🌺2 Teaspoons Baking Soda

🌺cashew nuts and Raisins for Garnishing (optional)

Method:

  1. Add the Milk,Egg  and Jaggery to the blender and blend for a minute.
  2. Add the Flour,Baking Soda ,Cardamom powder,Salt,Sugar syrup and blend again to a smooth Lump free batter. It should be Idly batter consistency.if needed add more coconut milk.
  3. Pour it to a container ,close it and leave it aside for 2-4 hours.
  4. Apply Butter or oil to Idly Mould,pour the batter.
  5. Sprinkle with Cashew nuts and plums if you want.
  6. Steam it for 10 -  15 Minutes.Insert a toothpick to check wether it’s done.
  7. You can bake in Cup cake cases or cup cake Mould at 180c for 15 - 20 minutes .
  8. If you are adding sugar add more caramelized sugar for a beautiful dark brown
