Meringue Cookies (kisses)





Ingredients:  
🌹2 Egg whites
🌹Pinch of salt
🌹1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
🌹100g sugar
🌹Food coloring of your choice 
🌹Vanilla Essence(optional) 
🌹star nozzle , 1 M nozzle or 1 E nozzle 
Method:
1.Grind the sugar into a fine powder.
2.Beat the egg white ,salt and  the cream of tartar.beat in low speed.
3.when the egg whites started to froth up start adding the sugar little by little and beat in high speed .
4.Add the vanilla Essence.
4.Add a drop of coloring of your choice or you can make just plain white meringue cookies.
5.Beat until very stiff peaks.
7.transfer it to a piping bag with the 1 M nozzle.
8.Pipe into a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
8.Bake in a preheated oven at 100c for one hour.
9.After baking leave the oven door slightly opened  and leave them inside until the oven is completely cool.
10. Store in an airtight container up to two weeks.

Tips :
❤️Make sure  your whisk attachment  and your bowl is clean and Free of any grease ,oil or water.
❤️Make sure the egg whites are free from any yolk.
❤️Add cream of tartar to stabilize your Egg whites.
If you don’t have cream of tartar use 1/4 teaspoons of vinegar or 1/4lime juice,it will give you roughly the same results.it won’t give you the same results but similar
❤️Don’t rush adding the sugar,I recommend pouring one tablespoon at a time,beat well after each addition to combine.this will help you achieve a silky ,smooth texture.
❤️ When you add the vanilla essence it will change the color so you can leave it or add Almond essence for a flavor.
