Mutton Paaya:
Winter special,Warm and Healthy and Flavorful
๐ท500g Goat Trotters
๐ท1/2 teaspoons Turmeric powder
๐ท1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste .
๐ทCurry Leaves 1 spring.
๐ท1 Onions (Chopped)
๐ท Bayleaf
๐ท2-3 Cardamoms
๐ทCinnamon stick
๐ท 1 tea spoon Cumin Seeds
๐ท1 tablespoon Oil
๐ท2-3 green chilies
๐ทcoconut milk 1/2 cup ( 1 tablespoon of powder)or 4 tablespoons Curd
๐ท1 tablespoon Coriander powder
๐ท1 tablespoon Garam Masala Powder
๐ท2-3 teaspoons Chili powder (add according to your spice level)
๐ท1 teaspoon Pepper Powder
๐ทCoriander leaves for Garnish
๐ทone Lemon Juice
๐ทginger cut into julienne for Garnish
๐ท1-2 Cloves ( optional)
๐ท6-7 Cups of water.
๐ท1 teaspoon Kastoori methi(optional)
Method:
1.Clean Mutton Tortes with little turmeric and water and keep it aside.
2.Take Pressure Cooker add oil to it then add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, onions chopped Cook it until it turns translucent.then add curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, Mix well.
3.In a bowl add the remaining ingredients to the Mutton trotters.mix it well and add 3 or more cups water as required to cook the meat.close the pressure cooker with the lid, let it cook for at least 30 minutes in slow flame.
4.Once the Mutton Tortes are cooked ,Add the remaining water.If you want more soup,you can add some more water.Cook for another 10-15 Minutes.
5.When it is done add lemon Juice,Coriander leaves ,kastoori methi and mix well.
6. Mutton Paaya Soup is ready.
