Mashed Potatoes:






 


Presenting my all-time favorite mashed potatoes recipe! These homemade mashed potatoes are perfectly rich and creamy, full of great flavor, easy to make, and always a crowd fave. All you need is potatoes, salt, butter and milk OR cream (for a more luxurious finish). You don't need to fuss with extra ingredients if you use the right technique for cooking!



Mashed potatoes :

๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”

Ingredients:


๐Ÿ“Œ500g potatoes

๐Ÿ“Œ2 tablespoons butter

๐Ÿ“Œ1 teaspoons Salt

๐Ÿ“ŒPepper and salt to your taste

๐Ÿ“Œ1/2 cup Milk


Method:

1️⃣Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil with Salt.Add the potatoes and boil for about 15 mins or until tender this will season the potatoes all the way through until potato is very, very soft. 

2️⃣ Drain, return into pot ,Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until creamy and fluffy

3️⃣Add the milk to a saucepan,add the butter and salt  to it when the butter melts add the mashed potatoes to it mix well until smooth and creamy .

4️⃣sprinkle pepper to your taste.

5️⃣Enjoy.


๐Ÿ“ŒIf you want add 2 large cloves garlic, minced to the potatoes when boiling.


๐Ÿ“Œ Always put potatoes in cold water to start, then bring to a boil. That way the potatoes cook more evenly.
