 7 Recipes with leftover bread 

1. Bread Halwa :
Bread Halwa is super simple , super quick and super Delicious.

Ingredients :

Bread : 8
( grind into coarse powder it yields 3 cups )
Milk : 1 1/4 cup
Brown sugar : 3/4 cup
Ghee : 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp 
Cardamom powder : 1/4 tsp
Broken cashews : 2 tbsp
Salt a pinch  

Method :

Heat ghee in a pan and add bread coarse powder. Roast for 5 mins.
Now add milk and mix well. Cook for 5 mins.
Keep stirring in the same direction until all the bread absorb milk and get together and turn brown color.
Add sugar and mix well.
Cook till the mixture becomes thick. 
Now add 1 tbsp of ghee , cardamom powder, salt and cashews.
Bread Halwa is ready 😍

2. Bread Spicy Kebabs 

Ingredients :
Brown bread : 6
( Bread dipped in water and then squeezed completely of the water )
Boiled and Mashed Potato : 2 
Finely chopped onions : 1 big 
Chaat masala : 1/2 tsp
Roasted jeera powder : 1/2 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves : 1 tbsp 
Chopped green chilles : 2 tbsp
Roasted peanuts : 4 tbsp
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp 
Sooji - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Oil for shallow frying 

Method :
Mix ingredients together and make a soft dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Now shape them into kababs and shallow fry them.
Serve hot with fresh coriander chutney and tea ☕

3. Bread Gulab Jamun 

Easy Quick 😊 Sweet Sunday Recipe 
Bread Gulab Jamun :
Ingredients 
   
Bread - 6 slices
Milk - 1/2 cup

For the sugar syrup

Sugar -1/2 cup
Water -1 cup
Cardamom - 2 crushed

Few Raisins for stuffing 
Sliced almonds for garnishing 
   
Method :

Trim the edges of all the bread slices and set aside.
Take sugar and ellachi put in a container, add water  and heat it up until sugar dissolves completely and set aside.

Dip each bread slices in milk squeeze out excess milk and transfer it to the mixie, repeat this process for all the bread slices.Make a soft dough without apply too much pressure .
( add little milk if dough is little dry )

Make a small ball and roll smoothly.(Don't apply pressure while rolling and also dont roll them tight...the balls should be smooth).add one raisin in each jamun. Heat oil in a pan. When oil is hot drop few balls at a time, fry in low flame till golden brown.

Fry till golden brown and drain in tissue and immediately add the jamuns into the warm sugar syrup.Cover and let it rest for 2 hrs for the jamuns to absorb the sugar syrup well.

Garish with sliced almonds.

*Let the gulab jamuns remain soaked in the sugar syrup overnight. It will be more softer.

4. Bread Poha 
Ingredients :

10 bread slices ( chopped into small pieces )
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp rai 
4 tbsp thick curd 
1 tbsp chopped green chilli 
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped capsicum 
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste 
2 tbsp chopped dhaniya 

Method :
Chopped bread into small pieces. Keep aside.
Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds.
When the seeds crackle, add the green chillies ,onions, capsicum and saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
Add the curd and cook for 1 min.
Add the crumbled bread, lemon juice, salt and coriander, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Serve hot.

* Use good and heavy non stick pan.

5. Stuffed Bread 

Bread Stuffed with Potato 😋.
Bread Potato Rolls are crunchy outside, spicy and soft inside.

Ingredients :

Bread ( white or brown ) - 6

For stuffing :
Boiled bashed potato - 2 ( Medium size ) 
Crumbled paneer - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1/2 tsp
Rai - 1/2 tsp
Roasted jeera - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
Chopped green chilli - 1 tbsp
Chopped dhaniya leaves - 2 tbsp
Roasted Peanuts ( crushed ) - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste 
Oil to fry

Method :
Heat the oil in a frying pan add rai and When the rai starts  to pop add  green chili, and stir for a sec.
Add the potatoes and all the spices and stir-fry for a minute. Turn off the heat. Let it cool.
Make roll with mixture at a time into an oval shape. 
Trim the edges of the bread slices and Set aside.
Fill a small bowl with water to wet the bread. Dip a slice of the bread lightly in the water. Place the slice between your palms and press, squeezing out the excess water. This makes the bread moist.
Place the filling in the center of this bread and mold the bread to completely cover it all around, giving an oval shape. let them sit for about five minutes.
Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium high heat. Fry the bread rolls until they are golden brown.

Serve hot with your fav chutney 😋

6. Besan Toast 
Very Quick Very Easy Breakfast / Tea Time Snack 

Besan Toast or Vegetarian Toast

Ingredients:
Bread - 6
Besan - 1 cup
Sooji - 1/4 cup
Finley chopped onions - 1 cup
Finely chopped capsicum - 1/2 cup
Finely chopped sprouts - 1/2 cup
Chopped coriander leaves - 1tbsp
Chopped green chilli - 1
Salt to taste
Water - 1/2 cup
Oil to toast 

Method:
Mix all the above ingredients except bread to form a thin batter.
Cut each bread pieces into half diagonally.Dip each bread piece in the batter.
Heat the tawa, drizzle oil and toast both sides till light brown.While toasting press the bread slices so that all sides are cooked properly.
Serve hot with your fav chutney 😋

7. Delicious Dosa

Paneer stuffed Bread Oats Dosa :

Ingredients:

For dosa :
Bread ( powdered ) - 2 cups
Oats (roasted and powdered ) - 1 cup
Water -  1 1/2cups
Green chilly- 2 tbsp
Salt to taste 

For stuffing :

Paneer - 1 cup
Onion - 1 ( chopped )
Capsicum - 1 ( chopped )
Rai - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Haldi - 1/4 tsp
Dhaniya powder - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
Little chaat masala 
Salt to taste

Method :

Add 6-7 ( white or brown )bread into grinder and make fine powder. Keep it aside.
Dry-roast  oats over low flame in a pan until they turn slightly crisp or for approx. 4-5 minutes. Let it cool.
Then grind oats into fine powder.
Now mix bread and oats with curd, water and salt. Let it rest for 20 minutes.

Now prepare stuffing:
Coarsely grind paneer.
Then chop the onions and capsicum finely.
In a pan, add the oil and add cumin seeds and rai.
Now add onions and capsicum.
Saute for a few minutes and add  the paneer, salt, and all masalas. Cook for 5 mins in low flame.

Heat a tawa, pour a ladle of dosa batter, spread it in a circular motion.

As it gets cooked, holes start appearing. Drizzle a tsp of oil around the dosa.

Once the sides of the dosa starts to lift up, flip it over to the other side. Let the other side get cooked. After it is cooked, flip again, place 2-3 tbsp of paneer filling and fold the dosa.

Serve hot with chutney 😊
