Raan Mutton Leg Roast

Ingredients;

1 Mutton leg
Chillie powder 6 tablespoons 
Coriander powder 3 tablespoons 
Cummin powder 3 teaspoons 
Pepper powder 1 teaspoon 
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon 
Salt
Ginger and garlic paste 2 tablespoons 
Plain yoghurt or curd 6-7 tablespoons 

Method: 

Wash the mutton leg nicely,clean the leg and trim any excess fat,make some slashes on the meat.
Marinate the mutton with all the other ingredients,leave it aside for 3 -4 hours,add 1 cup water to the marinated mutton leg and cook in medium flame for 10 minutes then transfer into a tray or a Pyrex dish with the gravy and close tightly with an Aluminum foil and bake at 160’ for 45 minutes .now check the meat if it’s tender bake at 240’ for another 20 more minutes.if the meat is not cooked you can add another half a cup of water to prevent the roast sticking to the pan.then  remove the foil and bake both sides for 5-10 minutes until roast on top.serve with salad and naan roti or Atta roti.enjoy
