Mashroshi:

Traditional Maldivian Mashroshi is made using tuna filling and coconut dough. My favorite, great for anytime snack and breakfast❤️ 

Ingredients  for the dough:
๐Ÿ500 grams flour( I added Atta and white flour)
๐ŸWarm water 
๐ŸHalf scrapped coconut or 1 cup desiccated coconut 
๐ŸSalt

For the filling 
๐Ÿ1 can of tuna
๐Ÿ1 onion
๐Ÿ2-3 green chili
๐ŸHandful of coconut (desiccated coconut)
๐ŸSalt
๐ŸPepper powder 
๐ŸChili pieces 
๐ŸCurry leaves chopped (I added coriander leaves)

Method 
Filling :
1.Cut the onion , curry leaves and chili  finely chopped.
2.Add everything to the tuna ,mix well 
3.Add chilli flakes and pepper powder to your spice level.if you don’t want you don’t have to add.(this is my version๐Ÿ˜€)the traditional mashroshi is only with onions and green chilli with tuna.
4.Make small balls like cutlets.
3.Keep it aside.

Dough:
Method:
  1. put the dough ingredients to a bowl and knead it well into a stiff dough.
  2. If you are using desiccated coconut add little hot water to it and leave for 5 minutes and then add the flour salt and knead the dough.
  3. Break into lime size balls.
  4. Take one portion of dough flat it a little bit in your palm making a well inside folding your palm half way,place one portion of fish mix in to the dough and press inside. Seal it properly.
  5. Dust with flour and roll it into a circle ⭕️ (not too thin or too thick.)
  6. Heat the roti pan and place the roti’s .
  7. Cook both sides in medium heat.
  8. Enjoy๐Ÿ˜
