Butter Cake with American Butter Cream Frosting
Butter Cake:

Ingredients:
πΊ250gFlour
πΊ200g Sugar
πΊ5 Eggs
πΊ250g Butter
πΊ2 teaspoons Baking powder
πΊ1/4 cup Milk
πΊ2 teaspoons Vanilla essence
πΊColoring of your choice (optional)
Method
1.pre-heat the oven to 175c.
2.Beat the butter until creamy.
3.Add sugar into 3-4 batches and beat well after each Bach.
3.Gradually add the eggs one at time and beat it until smooth.
4.Then add milk and vanilla essence.
5.Finally add the flour which is mixed with baking powder,fold it until well combined.add coloring (optional)
6.Pour batter into the lined and greased cake tray.
7.Bake for 35-40 minutes .insert a tooth pick to check wether it comes out clean.then it’s ready.
8.cool it on a wire rack.
American Butter Cream frosting:
πΊ250g butter
πΊ400g Icing sugar
πΊ1 tablespoon Milk
πΊ1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
1.Sieve icing sugar.
2.Beat the butter Until creamy.
3.Add the icing sugar little by little and beat until everything mixed well.
4.Add the vanilla Essence and beat again.
