Masala Vadai:

 Ingredients:

๐ŸŒน3 cups Channa dhal(Toor dhal)
๐ŸŒน1 Onion finely chopped 
๐ŸŒน3-  4 Green chilli
๐ŸŒนSome Curry leaves 
๐ŸŒนLittle coriander leaves chopped (optional)
๐ŸŒนSalt to taste 
๐ŸŒน2-3 tablespoons Chilli Flakes
๐ŸŒน3 teaspoons Maldives fish flakes 
๐ŸŒน3 tablespoons  Lime juice




Method: 
  1. Soak the Channa dhal for 4-5 hours. Drain all the water .
  2. Grind 1/3 of the Channa dhal into a paste with the green chilli,(don’t grind into a fine paste)don’t add any water for grinding,it should be dry.
  3. Grind the other 1/3 into a coarse paste with the green chilli.
  4. Add the remaining Dhal whole .if you grind this way you will get perfect yummy crunchy vadai.
  5. Now mix all the ingredients together .check the salt.
  6. Now the Vade mix is ready to fry.
  7. Deep fry in hot oil in medium flame.
  8. Cook both sides until done.
  9. Enjoy with coconut Chutney.
Coconut Chutney:
Grind Coconut,Chili Powder,lime juice,salt,green Chili into a fine paste.
