Tuna Cutlets:
Ingredients:
πΉ5-6 Medium sized Potatoes ( boiled)
πΉ6 medium size Onions chopped
πΉ4 -5 Green Chilies (depending on how spicy you want ,cut in thin slices)
πΉ100 g leeks
πΉ2 Cans of Tuna chunks in oil
πΉ1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
πΉ1-2 teaspoon chilli powder
πΉ1 teaspoon Pepper powder
πΉ1-2 teaspoons cumin powder
πΉ2 teaspoons Coriander powder
πΉCurry leaves and Rampe (optional)
πΉSalt to taste
πΉ2-3 tablespoons Lime Juice
πΉBread crumbs
πΉOil to fry
Flour batter:
πΉ5-6 tablespoons flour
πΉ10 tablespoons water
Or two eggs beaten
Method:
1. Add the Oil which is in the Tuna can to a pan,
Add the Rampe,Curry Leaves,onions,green chilli and the other spices.
2.Mix well.add the Tuna,mix well.add the chopped Leeks (optional)
3.Add the Mashed Potatoes stir it.
4.Cook on low flame until the mixture heats up.
Add the Lemon juice,mix well.check the salt.Switch off the fire.
5.Leave it aside until it cools down.
6.Finally Make balls out of it. You can make big or Small size balls.Make balls with all the remaining tuna mix.
7.Make a flour batter (or beaten eggs) and dip the balls one by one and roll in bread crumbs.
8.Fry the cutlets in deep hot oil until the balls turn into golden brown .place them on a kitchen towel or tissue paper, so that it will absorb the oil.
