 Easy Beef Biriyani:


This is my super easy  Biryani  recipe.

I’m using fried Onions in this Recipe.you don’t have to Chop and fry so much onions.


Ingredients:


๐ŸŒท1 kg Beef (Or Mutton)

๐ŸŒท3 Medium Tomatoes Chopped

๐ŸŒท2 cups of fried onions

๐ŸŒท4 green chillies

๐ŸŒท2 tablespoons ginger and garlic paste

๐ŸŒท1/2 packet shan biryani masala

๐ŸŒท1 cup plain yoghurt

๐ŸŒทSalt to taste

๐ŸŒท1/4 teaspoons turmeric

๐ŸŒท1 tablespoon coriander powder

๐ŸŒท1 tablespoon Chili Powder

๐ŸŒท1 teaspoon cumin powder

๐ŸŒท2 tablespoons ghee


Ingredients for  the rice:

๐ŸŒท5 Cups of Basmati Rice(Soak for 30 Minutes)

๐ŸŒท2 teaspoons oil

๐ŸŒท1” cinnamon stick

๐ŸŒท2 bay leaves

๐ŸŒท3 pods of Cardamoms & cloves

๐ŸŒท1 teaspoon cumin seeds

๐ŸŒท3 Tablespoons salt


๐ŸšMeantime add 5 cups basmati rice to a large bowl.and rinse it at least thrice. Drain and soak in fresh water for 30 minutes.

๐ŸšAdd 20 cups of water to a deep pan followed by the bay leaf,cumin seeds,cinnamon stick,Oil.Make sure to add more salt,Stir it well to dissolve the salt.it should taste like sea water.then only the biriyani will taste good.cook in very high heat.

๐ŸšOnce  the water starts boiling add the strained basmati rice,stir it well and continue to boil it On high heat,Stirring few times very gently not to break the rice,Boil for 8-10 minutes until the rice is  75%done.

๐Ÿš You can either press the rice grains between the forefinger and thumb. While pressing the rice grains should break into half.

๐ŸšSwitch Off the fire and strain out all the water.

๐Ÿšset it aside.


Method:

1️⃣Wash the Beef and marinate the meat with the mentioned ingredients. 

2️⃣Leave it to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

3️⃣Into a heated pot add

the ghee and transfer the marinated meat into the pot. Add chopped tomatoes, 1 1/2 cups of fried onions,Mix well.

4️⃣Add 2 cups of water or more to cover the Beef completely.close with the lid and cook until the meat is tender.

5️⃣If you are cooking in the regular pan cook for 30- 40 minutes on medium flame stirring occasionally,until the meat is tender.it will take slightly longer,but the result also will be more tastier.

6️⃣Meantime soak the rice.

7️⃣when its half done strain the water and transfer on to the cooked meat.Sprinkle some orange colour,rose water, remaining fried onions,coriander leaves,Mint leaves(optional)

8️⃣Cook with the lid on for 15 minutes on a low heat, Once done rest for 10 mins before serving to get long beautifully steamed rice.Mix  the rice and Mutton evenly.
