Sweet Semolina Porridge:
Aka Sweet Rulang Kanji:
Ingredients:
π·1 cup semolina (rulang)
π·1 cup thick coconut milk
π·5 cups Water or thin Coconut Milk
π·200g Jaggery (use according to your sugar level)
π·2-3 tablespoons sugar
π·3 tablespoons Caramelized Sugar (optional)
π·1” Cinnamon Stick
π·2-3 Cardamom pods
π·Pinch of salt
π·Cashew nuts and raisins (optional)
Method
1️⃣Add 3 Cups water to a pan and boil on medium heat.add the rulang and salt.Cook it without any lumps. Add the cinnamon and cardamon.Stir well and add the Jaggery.cook for a couple of minutes.
3️⃣Add the thick coconut milk boil once and switch off the fire.
4️⃣Garnish with cashew nuts and raisins. 5️⃣serve hot.
