 The BEST Homemade Chili Oil You Will EVER TRY! 


Learn how to make a simple chili oil at home with this quick and easy recipe. Homemade chili oil is great for drizzling over foods for extra spice and flavor,  for mixing into sauces and vinaigrettes, as well as for cooking 


Chili Oil :

๐Ÿ“Œ1 1/2 cups crushed chilli flakes

๐Ÿ“Œ3 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds

๐Ÿ“Œ1/2 Cup finely chopped garlic

๐Ÿ“Œ1 tablespoon sugar

๐Ÿ“Œ1 tablespoon salt

๐Ÿ“Œ1 tablespoon soya sauce 

๐Ÿ“Œ1 tablespoon vinegar


For the oil:

๐Ÿ“Œ2 cups oil

๐Ÿ“Œ3 to 4 Garlic skin

๐Ÿ“Œ2 Bay leaves

๐Ÿ“Œ2 Star anise

๐Ÿ“Œ3 Cardamom pods or powder

๐Ÿ“Œ1” piece of cinnamon stick

๐Ÿ“Œ2 to 3 slices of ginger

๐Ÿ“Œ2 cloves


Method:

1️⃣Into a pan add the oil, garlic skin, ginger, bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon stick and cloves.

2️⃣Let it In simmer in oil for 10 mins.

3️⃣In another bow add chilli flakes, sesame seeds chopped garlic, salt, sugar vinegar and soya sauce mix well.

3️⃣Make sure the oil is very hot before pouring it over the chili flake mix.(strain and pour )mix well quickly.

4️⃣keep it aside for 15 mins to cool.

5️⃣ Transfer it to a glass jar and store it in a cool place upto 4 weeks.


๐Ÿ“Œ Neutral flavored cooking oil with a high smoking point is called for this recipe, such as sunflower, vegetable, canola oil 


๐Ÿ“ŒOlive oil is not recommended as it has a distinctive taste and is not supposed to be used with very high heat.
