Chocolate Biscuit Pudding:
Quick ,Easy and Delicious,No -Bake Marie Biscuit Pudding:
Ingredients
πΉ Marie biscuits 70- 80 biscuits or as required
πΉ250g unsalted Butter or Margarine
πΉ500g Icing sugar
πΉ7 -8 tablespoons Cocoa powder
πΉ2 tablespoons Milk
πΉ2 teaspoons Vanilla Essence
πΉ1 Egg
For dipping the biscuits:
πΉ1 tablespoon Milk
πΉNescafe powder- 2 tsp
πΉWater- 1/4 cup hotwater to dissolve coffe
Method:
- Make the coffee with very hot water and add 2 tablespoons Milk to it .stir and keep it aside.
- In a bowl, beat together butter until creamy add the egg and beat well.
- Add icing sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add cocoa powder and continue beating until well mixed.
- Add vanilla essence and Mix well. add the milk beat well. The consistency of the mixture should neither be stiff nor too watery. It should be easily spreadable, so adjust milk accordingly.
- Take a Pyrex dish or any type of deep dish,Cover the bottom layer of the dish with an even layer of chocolate cream.
- Dip the biscuits one at a time in coffee mix and arrange it on top of the cream.you can lay the biscuits slightly overlapping each other if you want.
- With a spatula, spread the chocolate mixture over the biscuits evenly filling all the gaps and corners.
- Repeat with another layer of biscuits dipped in coffee and top it with another layer of chocolate cream.
- Continue layering biscuits and cream alternatively until all the cream is over and the cream layer is the top most layer.
- Decorate with grated chocolate ,chocolate chips or Nuts .This is optional.you can just refrigerate it without adding any decoration on top.
- Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.take it out when required.
- This pudding should always serve cold.
- I made with 3 layers of biscuits and 4 layers of chocolate Cream.
