Kottu Roti:
Kottu Roti is a popular Sri Lankan street food. It's stir fried chopped roti with veggies, eggs, and your choice of meat, all mixed with a blend of aromatic spices.
Kottu Roti :
Ingredients:
๐500g Plain godamba Roti cut into thin strips
๐2-3 Cups Cooked beef or Chicken curry
๐1 onion finely chopped
๐1/2 cup Spring onions shredded
๐1-2 green chilli, sliced
๐1/2 cup grated carrots
๐1 tablespoon ginger and garlic paste
๐3-4 eggs
๐1 teaspoon Chili powder
๐1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
๐Salt to taste
๐1-2 tablespoons Oil
Method
1️⃣ In a large wide bottom pan heat the oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot ,Add the ginger and garlic paste.sautรฉ it for a few seconds. Do not let them burn. Add the onions .Then add the veggies,Add some salt .
2️⃣Add the Pepper and Chili powder stir it.
3️⃣When the veggies are frying, gather them towards oneside of the wok and add the crack egg into the emptied side and scramble it.
4️⃣then add the shredded roti and the chicken pieces.Mix well.pour the gravy and mix well. until the shredded roti is completely coated with the all the gravy. Cook for few minutes and switch off the fire.
