Kottu Roti:




 Kottu Roti is a popular Sri Lankan street food. It's stir fried chopped roti with veggies, eggs, and your choice of meat, all mixed with a blend of aromatic spices.


Kottu Roti :

Ingredients:

πŸ“Œ500g Plain godamba Roti cut into thin strips

πŸ“Œ2-3 Cups Cooked beef  or Chicken curry

πŸ“Œ1 onion finely chopped 

πŸ“Œ1/2 cup Spring onions shredded 

πŸ“Œ1-2 green chilli, sliced

πŸ“Œ1/2 cup  grated carrots 

πŸ“Œ1 tablespoon ginger and garlic paste 

πŸ“Œ3-4 eggs

πŸ“Œ1 teaspoon Chili powder 

πŸ“Œ1/2 teaspoon pepper powder 

πŸ“ŒSalt to taste

πŸ“Œ1-2 tablespoons Oil


Method


1️⃣ In a large wide bottom pan heat the oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot ,Add the ginger and garlic paste.sautΓ© it  for a few seconds. Do not let them burn. Add the onions .Then add the veggies,Add some salt .


2️⃣Add the Pepper and Chili powder stir it.


3️⃣When the veggies are frying, gather them towards oneside of the wok and add the crack egg into the emptied side and scramble it. 


4️⃣then add the shredded roti and the chicken pieces.Mix well.pour the gravy and mix well. until the shredded roti is completely coated with the all the gravy. Cook for few minutes and switch off the fire.
