Chana Chaat (My Version)
Ingredients:
📌3 Cups boiled Chick peas
📌1 medium onion chopped
📌1-2 green Chillies chopped
📌Chopped Coriander leaves
📌1-2 teaspoons Chili powder
📌1 teaspoon Salt
📌1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
📌1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
📌1/2 teaspoon Pepper powder
📌1/2 teaspoons Chaat masala
📌1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
📌Left over fried Samosa strips (optional)
Method:
1️⃣Add the boiled and drained Chick peas to a bowl.
2️⃣Add Chopped Green chili and the Onions along with all the spices.
3️⃣Add the fried Samosa sheet strips and
sprinkle the chopped Coriander leaves.
Mix well.
4️⃣Pour the Tamarind Chutney over it.

📌If you want to serve the chana chaat cold, then refrigerate. Do not add the onions, Fried Samosa strips and coriander leaves while refrigerating the chaat. When you plan to to serve, at that time you add.mix these ingredients for best taste and texture.
📌Soak 1 cup kabuli chana (white chickpeas or chole) in enough water overnight or for 8
to 9 hours. Then pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
📌You can use canned Chick peas but fresh ones tastes better.
