Our Sri Lankan Gnakatha:

  • Gnakatha:(Sri lankan)
Ingredients:
๐ŸŒน250g Flour 
๐ŸŒน100g sugar
๐ŸŒน1 Egg
๐ŸŒน1 teaspoon Lime Juice
๐ŸŒน50g Butter
๐ŸŒน1 teaspoon Baking Powder 
๐ŸŒน1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence 
Method:

1.Beat the butter and sugar,Mix well.
2.Add the egg and beat.
3.Mix the flour,baking powder,vanilla and lime juice.
4.Knead it to make a dough.
5.Make into Small balls.
6.Flatten it with your palm,Moist one side with water and dip in Sugar.
7. Arrange it on a buttered tray and bake at 180c for 20
