Fish Ambul Thiyal:(Sour Fish Curry)
Ingredients:
❤️500g Tuna Fish (Skip Jack Tuna)
❤️8-9 pieces Goraka pods ( garcinia cambogia)
❤️2 tablespoons ground black Pepper
❤️1 teaspoon chili powder ( optional)
❤️1 sprig Curry Leaves
❤️3-4 Cinnamon sticks
❤️1 -2 cups water
❤️Pandan Leaf
❤️ 1 tablespoon salt
Method
1.Rub salt to the fish and wash and cut the fish into pieces.
2. Make goraka paste by adding some hot water to the goraka and leave it to cool then add the salt to it and blend it.
3.In a bowl add goraka paste,pepper powder and the Fish except curry leaves ,cinnamon and pandan leaf .Coat the fish with the goraka paste and leave it aside for 30 minutes.
4.In a clay pot spread the curry leaves , pandan leaves and-cinnamon sticks and spread the marinated fish and add the water. Shake the clay pot don’t use the spoon to mix it.
5.cook in medium heat and when it starts boiling simmer it for 40 to 50 minutes,close with the lid and cook until all the water dries up.The more you simmer ,It will taste better.
6.Use it within 4-5 days or You can store in the fridge For 3 weeks and use it if you cook this way.
