Garlic Rolls:
Dough Ingredients;
๐น750g Flour
๐น3 tablespoons olive oil
๐น1 teaspoon Salt
๐น3 teaspoons instant Yeast
๐น1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
๐น1 Egg
๐นWater or warm milk to knead the dough
For the garlic butter filling;
๐น2 whole garlic
๐นLittle coriander leaves
๐น6 tablespoons butter or margarine
> grind the garlic into a paste without adding water.
>add the butter and chopped coriander leaves to it and mix well.
> add salt if the butter is not salted.
> if their is any left over garlic butter filling you can store it in the fridge in an airtight container.
> if you want add more garlic.
Method;
1. Put all the dough ingredients and knead it to a smooth dough.
2. Close it with a damp cloth or cling film it and leave it in a warm place for one hour.
3. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
4. Roll one part to a rectangular shape and apply the garlic butter all over and roll up the dough-from the longer side like a Swiss roll.
5. cut into equal portions and arrange It on a buttered tray.don’t arrange them very close.brush them with egg and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
6. Seal it with a cling film and leave to rise for another 20-30 minutes.
7. Now Bake at 175• for 25 -30 minutes until golden on top.
8. Enjoy it with your favorite soup.
9.I always like healthy food so I used half Atta flour and half white flour in this recipe.
