Polos Curry:



Ingredients;

πŸ“Œ500g Polos ( young Jack)if you can’t get the fresh one use the Tin

πŸ“ŒGinger garlic paste

πŸ“ŒChilly powder 4 teaspoons 

πŸ“ŒCoriander powder 5 teaspoons 

πŸ“Œ1/4 teaspoons turmeric powder

πŸ“ŒSalt to taste

πŸ“ŒCummin seed powder 1/2 teaspoons 

πŸ“ŒFrenugeek seeds 1/2 teaspoons 

πŸ“ŒMustard seeds 1/2 teaspoons 

πŸ“Œ1 tablespoons Oil

πŸ“Œ1 onion slices

πŸ“Œ1/2 tomato

πŸ“Œ3 green chilli 

πŸ“Œ1/2 teaspoons pepper powder 

πŸ“ŒCurry leaves little (optional)

πŸ“ŒGoraka 1 piece

πŸ“Œ2 cups thick Coconut milk 

πŸ“Œ3 cups thin coconut milk


Method:

1. Cut the polos into medium sized cubes.

2.If you have a clay pot it will give a good taste to the curry.

3.Add oil to a pan,add mustard seeds .let it splatter.

4. Add the ginger and garlic paste stir it,until brown.

5.add the onions, tomatoes,green chilli and curry leaves stir fry it .

6. Add one teaspoon chilli powder to the oil,when it is red add the polos along with all the other remaining ingredients add the coconut milk  and let it boil nicely in medium flame.

7. Now reduced the flame to very low and cook until the polos is tender.

8. When oil floats on top switch off the fire.
