Polos Curry:



Ingredients;

๐Ÿ“Œ500g Polos ( young Jack)if you can’t get the fresh one use the Tin

๐Ÿ“ŒGinger garlic paste

๐Ÿ“ŒChilly powder 4 teaspoons 

๐Ÿ“ŒCoriander powder 5 teaspoons 

๐Ÿ“Œ1/4 teaspoons turmeric powder

๐Ÿ“ŒSalt to taste

๐Ÿ“ŒCummin seed powder 1/2 teaspoons 

๐Ÿ“ŒFrenugeek seeds 1/2 teaspoons 

๐Ÿ“ŒMustard seeds 1/2 teaspoons 

๐Ÿ“Œ1 tablespoons Oil

๐Ÿ“Œ1 onion slices

๐Ÿ“Œ1/2 tomato

๐Ÿ“Œ3 green chilli 

๐Ÿ“Œ1/2 teaspoons pepper powder 

๐Ÿ“ŒCurry leaves little (optional)

๐Ÿ“ŒGoraka 1 piece

๐Ÿ“Œ2 cups thick Coconut milk 

๐Ÿ“Œ3 cups thin coconut milk


Method:

1. Cut the polos into medium sized cubes.

2.If you have a clay pot it will give a good taste to the curry.

3.Add oil to a pan,add mustard seeds .let it splatter.

4. Add the ginger and garlic paste stir it,until brown.

5.add the onions, tomatoes,green chilli and curry leaves stir fry it .

6. Add one teaspoon chilli powder to the oil,when it is red add the polos along with all the other remaining ingredients add the coconut milk  and let it boil nicely in medium flame.

7. Now reduced the flame to very low and cook until the polos is tender.

8. When oil floats on top switch off the fire.
