One-Pan Creamy Tagliatelle

Ingredients

• 4–5 nests tagliatelle

• 10 cherry tomatoes (halved)

• 1 small onion (sliced)

• 2 garlic cloves (sliced)

• 1 handful fresh basil seeds

• 3 tablespoons parsley chopped 

• 1 teaspoon oregano

• 3 tablespoons olive oil

• 4 tablespoons passata

• 1/2 pack heavy cream

• Hot stock or hot water (to almost cover the pasta)

• Salt & black pepper

• Parmesan (for serving)


Method


  1. Add the tagliatelle to a large pan.
  2. Top with cherry tomatoes, onion, garlic and fresh basil.
  3. Add passata, olive oil, oregano, salt and black pepper.
  4. Pour in the cream along with hot stock (or water), just enough to almost cover the pasta.
  5. Cover and cook until the pasta softens.
  6. Remove the lid and simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce becomes rich and creamy.
  7. Finish with a generous sprinkle of parmesan and enjoy
